Kindred Spirit
Kindred Spirit was the first game that I had ever worked on, I spent a month and a half working on this game. It’s an action-platformer boss fight. My goal with this game was the acquaint myself with developing character controls, as well as designing enemies. I had many ideas for this fight that didn’t make it into the final product as I discovered the realities of scope in game design. The character is the spirit of a mother who has inhabited her daughter’s favorite toy to protect her from the very real monster that killed the girl’s parents and find out why the monster is hunting her daughter so relentlessly.
